Hi! I’m a journalism student at Humber College.
I was born in Hong Kong and studied environmental science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I thought I would become an animal conservationist, but my four years at university helped me discover a greater passion. A passion for justice and human rights. This discovery led me to a completely different path.
Shortly after graduation, I began working in an international humanitarian organization as an educator. My job was to educate young people about human rights issues in developing countries. I shared stories of children who fled wars, people who endured hunger and the strongest souls who never gave up on hope. This led to my second discovery. The power of storytelling.
Stories bring humanity to issues, connect people and awaken people’s compassion.
This discovery led me to my next path. The path of becoming a journalist. I strive to become a great storyteller who reports accurate information and creates content that touches people.
I write about human rights issues, movies and travel. When I’m not working, I love sitting by the window, with a great book, hot coffee and a blanket or simply enjoying the company of my loved ones.
